All coaches, volunteers, and umpires are required to complete the following assessments:

1. Sign Up On Our Website To Volunteer
-Click on the "Registration Info" and Volunteer To Help Button To Register
2. Pass A Little League Background Check
-The background check is conducted by LL and paid for by Hessville Little League
-After registering in step 1 you will receive a link to complete the background check.
3. Complete The Free "Abuse Awareness Training

4. Complete The Free "Diamond Leader Training

Upon completion of the background check we will be notified immediately, unless there is an issue with your background check you will not hear from us once this is completed.

When you complete the Diamond Leader and Abuse Awareness trainings, please email copies of your certificates to [email protected]

If you have completed the Diamond Leader in the past you will not need to take that training again as this is good for life. The LL portal should still provide you with a copy of your certificate for emailing in annually though. 

ALL MANAGERS, COACHES, BOARD OF DIRECTORS, and anyone who interacts with the children on the fields MUST complete these trainings and background checks PRIOR to working on the fields with the players.
